All 3 cymbals will come in very handy. I must say that if possible get the TRIPLE CYMBAL expansion kit.
It really makes a nice difference. If you are questioning buying this, and you are a devoted RB2 drummer, then I say you have to get this. You won't be disappointed. I say get it. Adding the crash cymbal is so satisfying in every song. Also, just my opinion, but I don't tighten it all the way down, so that when I hit it it has some give.
(There are two separate attachments, one that makes it easy to set it up as a crash and ride cymbal)I love the game, and this really lets you immerse yourself into the drumming. I was a littel scared that this and the two-pack(sold everywhere) would not be as good as getting the three pack - but, it came with everything I needed to either install it as a single cymbal, or to make the set of three.
Makes it more like real drums. Great option especially for the price. The cymbals for Rock Band 2 work awesome. I play drums and they react very accurately.
But since that's pretty impossible to find, getting the double and then this is a good way to fake it. Well, if you manage to find the single set anywhere, you're in luck - it comes with the same mounting tools as the triple, so you can upgrade the double set very easily with this one.I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because really, what you want is the triple set. Let's face it, the double cymbal set is the one you're most likely to find in a store (say, Gamesmop or Fest Fry). But once you have that, you realize how much you need 3 cymbals.
